How to Play

In Jetpack Kiwi, your primary task is to guide Kiwi through challenging aerial environments while evading and eliminating alien foes. The controls are simple yet engaging: press X to start the game and fire up Kiwi's jetpack. Once in flight, use the up and down arrow keys to navigate Kiwi vertically through the skies. To combat enemies, unleash Kiwi’s blaster by pressing X again or using the spacebar. Along the way, players should keep an eye out for crates containing hidden letters, which can be retrieved by destroying the crates. Remember, you have five lives to revive Kiwi if things get tough, so plan your moves carefully to ensure survival against the alien onslaught.

Game Modes

Jetpack Kiwi offers two distinct modes to suit your preferred playstyle. In the 1-Player Mode, you’ll take on the alien invaders solo, relying on your skills to protect Earth. For an added layer of excitement, team up with a friend in the 2-Player Mode. In this cooperative mode, both players must work together to overcome the challenges. Note that each player is allowed five lives, and if either player loses all five, the game ends for both. Teamwork and coordination are critical to ensure mutual survival and the defeat of the alien threat.

Jetpack Kiwi isn't just about flying and shooting—it encourages exploration and precision. Hidden within certain crates are letters waiting to be discovered. Destroying these crates and collecting the letters adds an additional layer of challenge to the game, rewarding players who are attentive and thorough. This feature not only enhances the gameplay experience but also provides an incentive to interact with the environment as you battle your way through each level.
